Reid Hannaford

Reid Hannaford is a director and producer in film, games, and XR. He was raised in Montréal, attended NYU, and now resides in Brooklyn, New York.

Reid’s work focuses on the harmony between humans and machines, and how we communicate our dreams while awake.

He directed the interactive documentary, MIMIC, which explores the human cost of artificial intelligence and premiered at the 2021 CPH:DOX Festival in Copenhagen. He produced the feature film, GOD’S TIME, which premiered in competition at the 2022 Tribeca Festival.

Reid is currently building immersive virtual worlds in UE5 that weave between fantasy and nightmare.
